Description
Alce Nero organic green tea is grown in the highest areas of the Nilgiri plateau, in southern India, where the expert hands of Unitea workers carefully cultivate and harvest the shoots and first leaves of the tea plant, the Camellia Sinensis. In these plantations, mainly women work, who benefit from the greater services for the community, guaranteed by the sale to the Fairtrade trade. Green tea contains alkaloids, natural substances of plant origin, including theine, similar to caffeine, whose action develops more moderately and gradually.
