Following careful analyses and evaluations, the use of heat to melt the wax does not alter the freshness index of the honey and its state of preservation. It was therefore found that, in the honeys of the wax melter, the HFM values recorded are well below the threshold provided for by the relevant legislation (Legislative Decree no. 179/2004).
